Alright, so I've thought of doing this for awhile now... setting up a blog type of thing where I can not only post some of my own art and thoughts, but also post up some images of things I've found (either around the net or in real life) such as scans of interesting comics, mp3s, etc...

So yeah, I put up this LiveJournal account the other day and hopefully some of you here who share similar interests might drop me a line +Friend me or whatever. I'm not sure if LiveJournal was the best choice... but still... I imagine it will work as well as any other blog space and I already knew a few cool folks blogging there... so yeah...

Two pots full of coffee later... I'm feeling jittery and trying to counteract the effects with some water. It's like 5am here and I finally finished up and posted a new drawing (of squirmy worm girls) that I colored in Photoshop. Hope y'all enjoy the result of my efforts!

So I did finish up a few of my New Years resolutions. One of 'em was to set up my scanner... which, as you will see, has occurred and now a new image "Like a Frog" is scanned and submitted.

I also finally got around to colorizing the second of those 4 panel comics of mine in Japanese.

A third one is that I drew my New Year's picture for the year (a little late, yeah... I know)... but it's ready to go and I should have it scanned in soonish. It's a drawing of a minotaur devouring a girl with mouse ears/tail... since we're going from the year of the rat to the year of the ox n' all!

If some of you don't know about it, it's a Japanese site similar to Deviant Art. I'm going to start using it now because:

A: I want to practice with using my Japanese more.
B: There's some good stuff there that fits my interests.
C: They seem to have less restrictions on what you can post than Deviant Art.

Another thing... just changed my ID to something a little nicer and intentional. Hope you like it, just patched together a few things I had laying around. Hopefully I'll have time to draw and design something more specific to this DA page... we'll see.
